Packing...packing....packing

So, this is officially my first blog post about the actual trip. Just a few disclaimers before we really head into this. I am going to try to do my best with spelling, and grammar, but there are absolutely no guarantees that I will come close to being perfect with the English language. :). Grandma, forgive me for that.
However, I am sitting in my living room getting ready for what is about to be the craziest trip of my life. As many of you know I have been to several other countries but my heart has always been to go to Africa. It is surreal that it is actually happening, and for such a long period of time. I am sitting here now thinking about how insane this must be, but it makes so much sense in my life right now.
I was very reluctant about starting a blog just because sometimes I feel like they can get very selfish and its all about me, hey come read my blog because what I have to say is soooo important. Instead, why don't we just point people back to Jesus without our blogs, and other fancy dancy things :).
Oh another thing, I tend to go off on tangents, but I promise not to go on a crazy one that makes no sense to the world :).
I am going to get some shut eye before I leave in 2.5 hours. Thank you for praying, and don't worry, this will get more interesting as the days go on. Just wait, something will happen at the airport or i will lose my passport because Meg isn't here to make sure i have my life together! goodness. :) Ok i will post a little later.
