i usually enjoy traveling...

Well..I'm off. We leave around 3:30 for the airport and of course I leave my mom balling her eyes out :). Love you mom, I wouldn't have it any other way! Any who, So we get to the airport and I realize I leave my pillow in the car. I can deal with that, its just a pillow. I slept on my backpack in Haiti for 6 days on a porch, I can do this. I go up to check in my bags and 5 of my wonderful friends were there to great and pray over my venture as I left. Meg of course was checking over everything I had and needed making sure I has it :). We go to check in and I find out that its 60 dollars for my bags. Good thing I had some money in my account. So I was a little eh about that, but its whatever. You have to let it go. So we get up there and my bag is over weight. I weigh the other one....so is it. So being the dynamic duo Meg and I are, we get to thinking. Maybe I can shove 10 pounds of stuff into a little purse that Amanda is carrying (poor Amanda always gets the shaft) Needless to say I didn't want to do that, so I just paid for one of the bags to be overweight and shoved the rest of the weight from the other bag into it. Then I go to pay the fee and its 90 DOLLARS! I officially hate Delta. So all in all my bags cost me a total of 150 dollars. That's cool. So its whatever I get over it, because honestly there is no sense in being mad at something you have no control over. So I go and get prayed over before I leave which was wonderful. I am not sure how I got the support team that I did but I am one blessed girl. So I leave them and go to the terminal and wait. I was getting a little thirsty so I went to go grab some milk (shout out to Mr bobby calamari...is that how you spell your last name? I guess I should know that....) anyway so I grab some milk and I go to gulp this thing down and after my first shallow I realize it must have been from a dead cow because it was the most rotten milk I have ever taste. It was sooooo GROSS! So I am walking while I drink this and I start to gag. Wonderful. I am gagging in a crowd in the Buffalo Airport. So I basically try not to vomit everywhere and get my composure, while my entire plane stares at me in concern and disgust. I have officially made my mark. :). Well at that point this morning was getting more funny by the moment. So I get on the plane and try and sleep. I slept for a bit but it was only an hour plane ride so it didn't last long. I wake up to the pilot screaming over the overcome saying how we have been circling Detroit for the past 20 minutes because its to foggy to land. My plane to California leaves in 45 minutes and we haven't even landed in Detroit. About 10 minutes later they tell us we are running out of fuel so we needed to go to Indiana to get fuel. Its another half an hour there is no way I am catching my flight to California. We land in Indiana and we sit on the runway for almost 2 hours before we get the OK to go back to Detroit. We land in Detroit and I go find my way to getting another flight and the only one available doesn't get to California until 515 that night. So I am sitting in the airport writing this blog laughing because no one is here to share this insane experience with me :). I am going to make a video of my adventures here because I have a couple hours to spare with no homework to do! YEAH! Now I just need to find decent internet to upload this ;). Thanks for checking up on me. I will let you know how m flight to California goes and the training. Thank you for your love and prayers, it really does mean the world to me. Love you guys
